L'il Peanuts

toy L'il Peanuts is our new moms' group and is for moms with babies under the age of one (1 year). Make new friends and share experiences together as you play with your babies. Infant toys and equipment are available including mats, Bumbo chairs, Jumperoos, exersaucer, etc. L’il Peanuts will be opening an afternoon.

PB&J

train PB&J is for families with toddlers from 1 to 4 years old. Siblings younger than 1 are also welcome. Free play, music, creative time, games, and stories are all part of the PB&J fun! Choose a morning session (9:15am - 11:15am - Mon. Tues. Wed. or Thurs). Afternoons may also be available! Please contact pbjreg@gmail.com for registration inquiries.

Both L'il Peanuts and Peanut Butter & Jam operate as interactive co-operatives, and each caregiver's active participation is vital to the operation as well as the success of the playgroups. There are no drop-offs allowed. As well as the interactive participation of the moms during each session, co-operative duties are required to be fulfilled by each mom.

music Each 2 hour session is divided as follows:
  • 60 minutes free play - large and small toys provided
  • 20 minutes snack time - parents provide snack - we are a NUT FREE ZONE
  • 20 minutes creative time - crafts, colouring, play-doh etc.
  • 20 minutes circle time - stories, songs, parachute, musical instruments etc.
  • toys PB&J is completely parent organized. Each caregiver is required to sign up for approximately 3 parent participation activities per semester, and run for one month intervals. There are two semesters running from September through January, and February through June. Parent participation activities include:
  • opening the hall
  • leading creative time
  • leading circle time
  • closing the hall
  • Attending a cleaning bee, wrapping bee, and/or helping out at the "I've Outgrown it Sale" will also count towards the participation requirement for the semester.
