Circle Time

Welcome circle leader duty parents!  Each circle time lasts 20 minutes.  During this time you will lead the group in a combination of play, games, activities and songs.  Reading a simple story with large pictures is also encouraged.  Feel free to choose a few of the activities from the circle time handbook or bring in your own activities. In the supply closet you will find equipment to help you with your games and activities including a parachute.

Creative Time

Each creative time lasts 20 minutes. During this time you will lead the group in a simple task. Tasks should be age appropriate and about the process rather than the finished product. Here are some ideas for creative time:

  • Play-Doh - let kids get creative!
  • Blank paper and crayons - let the kids draw whatever they like
  • Shaker bottle - fill an empty water bottle with rice or pasta
